Crispiest Delhi Aloo Tikki: Better than Bittu Tikka Wala

🥘 Ingredients

  • 4 large, boiled and gratedPotatoes
  • 1/2 cup, boiled (for stuffing)Chana Dal
  • 2 tbsp (for binding)Cornflour
  • Green mint and Sweet tamarindChutneys

👨‍🍳 Instructions

Step 1 (Tikki Base): Mix grated potatoes with cornflour and salt.

Step 2 (Stuffing): Place a little chana dal in the center of a potato ball and flatten into a tikki.

Step 3 (Slow Fry): Fry on a tawa with a little oil on low heat for a long time until the outer layer is thick and crunchy.

Step 4 (Assembly): Smash the tikki slightly, top with yogurt, chutneys, chat masala, and pomegranate seeds.
