🥘 Ingredients
- 1 cupWheat Flour
- 1/2 cupPowdered Jaggery
- 1 tspFennel Seeds (Saunf)
- for deep fryingDesi Ghee
👨🍳 Instructions
Step 1 (Batter): Dissolve jaggery in 1 cup of warm water. Let it cool.
Step 2 (Mixing): Add wheat flour and fennel seeds to the jaggery water. Whisk vigorously to make a smooth, pouring consistency batter.
Step 3 (Frying): Heat ghee in a flat pan. Pour a ladle of batter to form a small pancake.
Step 4 (Cooking): Fry on medium heat until the edges are golden and crispy. Flip and cook the other side.
Step 5 (Serving): Serve hot, usually accompanied by a bowl of creamy rice kheer.
