🥘 Ingredients
- 2 cupsWheat Flour (Coarse)
- 3/4 cupPure Desi Ghee
- 1/2 cupPowdered Jaggery (Shakkar)
- Almonds and Cashews (optional)Dry Fruits
👨🍳 Instructions
Step 1 (Rotis): Knead a stiff dough with wheat flour and water. Make 4-5 thick rotis and cook them on a tawa until they are well roasted and slightly crispy.
Step 2 (Crumbling): While the rotis are still very hot, tear them into small pieces and put them in a large bowl.
Step 3 (The Churn): Add the jaggery powder and half of the ghee. Use your hands to rub and crumble the rotis into a fine, sandy texture.
Step 4 (Mixing): Add the remaining ghee and chopped nuts. Mix vigorously.
Step 5 (Shaping): Press the mixture firmly with your palms to form large round balls (Pinni).
Step 6 (Serving): Serve at room temperature with a glass of warm milk.
