Goan Fish Curry

🥘 Ingredients

  • 4 slicesKingfish/Pomfret
  • 1 cup gratedFresh Coconut
  • 5-6 driedKashmiri Red Chilies
  • 1 tbspCoriander Seeds
  • 1 small ballTamarind
  • 3-4 petalsKokum
  • 2 slitGreen Chilies

👨‍🍳 Instructions

Grind coconut, dried chilies, coriander seeds, turmeric, and tamarind into a fine paste.

Heat a little oil in a pot, add the ground masala paste and sauté for 2 mins.

Add water to adjust consistency and bring to a boil.

Add the fish slices, slit green chilies, and kokum petals.

Simmer gently for 5-7 minutes until fish is cooked. Do not stir vigorously.

Serve hot with steamed rice.
