Babru: The Himachali Kachori

🥘 Ingredients
- 2 cupsWheat Flour
- 1/2 cup, soakedBlack Gram (Urad Dal)
- 1/2 tspBaking Powder/Yeast
- Cumin, Green chilies, SaltSpices
- for deep fryingOil
👨🍳 Instructions
Step 1 (Dough): Mix flour with a little oil, salt, and yeast. Knead into a soft dough and let it rest for 2-3 hours.
Step 2 (Filling): Grind the soaked dal with green chilies and spices into a coarse paste.
Step 3 (Stuffing): Take small balls of dough, stuff with the dal paste, and roll them out into small thick puris.
Step 4 (Frying): Deep fry in hot oil until they puff up and turn golden brown.
Step 5 (Serving): Serve hot with Boondi Raita or Tamarind chutney.
