Bhey: Spicy Lotus Stem

🥘 Ingredients
- 250g, cleaned and slicedLotus Stem (Bhey)
- 1, finely slicedOnion
- 1 tbspGinger-Garlic Paste
- 1 tbspBesan
- Cumin, Turmeric, Red chili powderSpices
👨🍳 Instructions
Step 1 (Cleaning): Peel the lotus stem and slice it diagonally. Wash thoroughly to remove any dirt from the holes.
Step 2 (Boiling): Boil the slices in water with a little salt for 10 minutes until they are 80% cooked. Drain.
Step 3 (Stir Fry): Heat oil, add cumin and onions. Sauté until golden. Add ginger-garlic paste.
Step 4 (Spicing): Add the lotus stems and all spices. Sprinkle besan over them and toss on high heat.
Step 5 (Crunch): Cook for 5-7 minutes until the lotus stems are crispy and well coated with spices.
