Chila: The Rice Flour Pancake Hook

🥘 Ingredients
- 1 cupRice flour (or soaked rice paste)
- 1/2 cupCurd (dahi)
- as needed to make batterWater
- to tasteSalt
- 1 small, finely chopped (optional)Onion
- 1, finely choppedGreen chilies
- 2 tbsp, choppedCoriander leaves
- 1/2 tspCumin seeds
- for cookingOil
👨🍳 Instructions
In a bowl, mix rice flour, curd, salt, cumin, chilies, onion (optional), and coriander.
Add water gradually to make a pourable batter (like dosa batter, slightly thicker). Rest 10 minutes.
Heat tawa on medium and lightly grease.
Pour a ladle of batter and spread gently into a medium-thick pancake.
Drizzle a few drops of oil. Cook 2–3 minutes until edges lift and underside is golden.
Flip and cook 1–2 minutes. Serve hot with chutney.
